2015 Subaru Impreza gets a starting price of $18,195 in the United States

Subaru confirmed that its 4-door version of the 2015 Impreza will start at $18,195 in the United States, while the Impreza 5-door model starts at $18,695. All 2015 Impreza models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that produces 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm.

Power is delivered through a standard all-wheel drive system while the engine is offered with a manual transmission or the Lineartronic CVT automatic gearbox. Subaru says that the Premium and Limited trims offer as standard the Lineartronic CVT transmission, while a 5-speed manual transmission is available as standard on the base 2.0i and Sport Premium trims.

The entry-level version arrives with tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, a multi-function display with fuel economy info, steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth control switches, remote keyless entry and security system with engine immobilizer. Also, Rear Vision Camera is offered as standard.

The 2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium has a starting price of $20,995 and features 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear suspension stabilizer bar as well as a Lineartronic CVT as standard. Subaru offers the All-Weather Package, which consists of 2-stage heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors and windshield wiper de-icer.

In addition, the Alloy Wheel Package is available and includes 17-inch wheels, power moonroof, fog lights and a steering wheel wrapped in leather. The 2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium is priced from $20,995 when equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and at $21,995 when using the CVT.

This model arrives with body-coloured side sills, 17-inch alloy wheels, turn-signal mirrors, roof rails, unique seat fabric and the steering wheel as well as the gear knob wrapped in leather. The 2015 Impreza Limited and Sport Limited (5-door only) models start at $22,295 and $23,295, respectively.

This means just a $100 increase over the previous model. Both models arrive with seats wrapped in leather, a new infotainment system, turn signal exterior mirrors, a color LCS in the gauge cluster, Welcome Lightning and a steering wheel wrapped in leather. [source: Subaru]
