2015 Toyota Prius+ gets a facelift in Europe

Toyota GB announced that the Prius+, also known as Europe’s best-selling seven-seat hybrid MPV, is getting some updates for the 2015MY. As a result, the 2015 Prius+ arrives with a new upper grille fitted with a more prominent Toyota badge, new LED headlights, as well as a completely new front bumper with trapezoid shape finished in gloss black metallic and featuring integrated LED headlights and fog lights.

At the rear, we find new taillights and a new bumper. According to Toyota, the Prius+ will be available with two new exterior colours, Dark Sherry metallic and Attitude Black mica. The interior was updated too and arrives with a dark silver metallic finish for the switchgear, air conditioning dial control and a chrome finish for the door handles and slim-line air vents.

The dash is dominated by the 4.2-inch colour TFT information screen, which is controlled using the switchgear located on the steering wheel. Toyota will offer as standard the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system which includes touchscreen control, Bluetooth and reversing camera.

The Toyota Touch 2 with Go ads satellite navigation, live traffic information, text-to-speech function and 3D city modeling with landmark graphics. As an option, Toyota offers electric seat adjustment, a front centre armrest and Intelligent Park Assist.

Safety was improved too and the Prius+ arrives with emergency brake signal and Hill-start Assist Control. Engine was updated too in order to meet the Euro 6 emission standards.
