2015 Toyota Yaris Facelift: first photo released

Article by Andrew Christian, on April 22, 2014

The 2015 Toyota Yaris has just received a facelift and the Japanese carmaker unveiled today the first photo with the updated model. Set to go on sale this summer, the 2015 Yaris comes with a new front-end design inspired by the smaller Aygo. As you can see, the front end features a big trapezoidal grille that creates an “X” shape together with the upper grille, redesigned headlights fitted with LED daytime running lights, but also a new front hood that shows an aggressive design.

The new upgrade also brings new wheel designs and a revised rear end that includes new taillights and a new air diffuser integrated into the rear bumper. The high quality interior brings the Toyota Link multimedia information system. Toyota also promises more colors for the interior as well as new equipment.

Under the hood, we expect to see the same engine lineup found on the current models, which means we will see the 1.0- and 1.33-liter petrol engines, the 1.4-liter diesel and hybrid powertrains.
