2015 Volkswagen Jetta starts at $16,215, hybrid model costs $31,670

The 2015 VW Jetta TDI will hit the dealerships in the third quarter of 2014 and if you want one you’d better know that the German sedan will arrive with a price tag of $16,215, excluding the destination charge. For this amount of money you will get the 2.0-liter base trim which is available as a factory order only. Under the hood, there is a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 115 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque, bolted to a five-speed manual transmission.

The 2015 Jetta 2.0L S starts at $17,325 (excluding $825 destination charge) and besides the same 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine it comes with 15-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires, power and heatable exterior mirrors, manual air conditioning, RCD 310 radio with single CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, power locks with remote keyless entry and power windows with 1-touch up/down on all four windows. As an option, Volkswagen offers the 2.0L S model with an automatic transmission, but price increases to $18,425.

The 2015 Jetta 2.0L S with Technology includes all the S features and adds a rearview camera, push-button start as well as a Premium VIII touchscreen radio with SiriusXM Satellite Radio, everything for $18,320, excluding destination charge. Same model featuring a six-speed automatic transmission costs $19,420, excluding destination.

If you want a turbocharged petrol engine, the 2015 Jetta 1.8T SE arrives with a 1.8-liter turbo engine that generates 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, bolted to a five-speed manual transmission. Carrying a price tag of $18,995, this model includes S features and adds 16-inch Sedona wheels, heatable front seats, electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering, push-button start, heated washer nozzles, MDI with iPod adapter and the SiriusXM Satellite Radio. The six-speed automatic transmission increases the pricing to $29,095.

The 2015 Jetta 1.8T SE with Connectivity is priced at $22,325, comes with SE features and is fitted as standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, this model receives 16-inch Arlington wheels, chrome front grille and window trim, body-color exterior mirrors with turn indicators, front and rear carpeted floormats, a multifunction steering wheel and handbrake wrapped in leather, sunroof, Premium VIII touchscreen radio, rearview camera, VW Car-Net connected car features with six-month no charge trial period.

2015 Jetta Sport (manual) is priced at $20,895, includes SE features but adds 17-inch Joda Black alloy wheels, sport suspension, two-tone heatable sport seats, the RNS315 navigation, rearview camera, foglights, black headliner, contrasting stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, seats and handbrake as well as a rear spoiler. The same model featuring a six-speed automatic transmission costs $21,995.

Meanwhile, the 2015 Jetta 1.8T SE with Connectivity and Navigation includes the SE with Connectivity features but adds the 17-inch Joda alloy wheels, keyless access with push-button start, foglights and the RNS 315 touchscreen navigation. Eveything costs $23,650. The 2015 Jetta 1.8 SEL is priced at $25,380 and includes SDE with Connectiovity and Navigation features as well as two-tone sport seats, full power driver seats, a Fender Premium Audio System, Homelink and automatic dual-zone climate control.

The diesel-powered 2015 Jetta TDI S starts at $21,640 and arrives with a 2.0-liter TDI engine that develops 150 hp. The vehicle uses a six-speed manual transmission and comes as standard with an electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering, remote keyless entry, 16-inch wheels, a chromed grille, cruise control, heatable seats, MDI w/iPod cable and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. The six-speed DSG transmission increases the total price to $22,740.

2015 VW Jetta TDI SE with Connectivity starts at $24,075, includes TDI S features and adds body-coloured power heated exterior side mirrors with turn signal indicators, a multifunction steering wheel and handbrake, sunroof, VW Car-Net connected car features, a rearview camera, Premium VIII touchscreen radio and push-button start. The six-speed DSG automatic transmission brings the price tag to $25,175.

The 2015 Jetta TDI SEL (manual) models costs $26,410 and includes TDI SE with Connectivity features as well as 17-inch Lancaster alloy wheels, RNS 315 navigation system, Fender Premium Audio System, automatic dual-zone climate control, rearview camera, keyless access with push-button start and foglights. The six-speed DSG automatic transmission increases the total price at $27,510.

The most powerful model arrives with a 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine that develops 210 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. This engine is found on the 2015 Jetta 2.0L GLI SE (manual), which starts at $26,920 and arrives with 18-inch Mallory alloy wheels, a front sport bumper, rocker side panels, automatic headlights, red-painted calipers, sport suspension, power-adjustable and heatable exterior mirrors, LED taillights, automatic headlights, daytime running lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Premium VIII touchscreen radio, rearview camera, a Fender audio system, sunroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Premium VIII touchscreen radio with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and MDI with iPod cable. The six-speed DSG automatic transmission brings a total price of $28,080.

2015 Jetta 2.0L GLI SEL (manual) costs $29,280, includes 2.0L GLI SE feature and adds bi-xenon headlights with Adaptive Front-lightning System, LED daytime running lights, foglights with static cornering light, RNS 315 navigation system and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert. Add the six-speed DSG automatic transmission and you will pay a total of $40,380.

2015 VW Jetta Hybrid SEL Premium costs $31,670 and comes as standard with the seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, 17-inch Buenos Aires aluminum-alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights with AFS and LED DRLs, aerodynamic body kit, rain-sensing wipers, heated wiper nozzles, a rera spoiler power heated side mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, the RNS 315 navigation system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, MDI with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, VW Car-Net connected car features as well as Keyless access with push-button start. Moreover, the Jetta Hybrid comes with an upgraded display in the instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning System, Park Distance Control, foglights with static cornering light and Fender Premium Audio System.
