Fiat recently launched a new limited edition Abarth 595 Tricolore along with the release of two new short films showcasing all the three available colors for the exclusive Tricolore model. In addition, Fiat announced that only 300 cars will be produced under this Tricolore pack which, as the name suggests, is available in three colors namely; red, white or blue.

This high performance Abarth is priced at £15,150 OTR. Launching the new Tricolores are two new short films titled “The Real Italian Job”, designed to whet viewers’ appetites before the brand showcases the new model at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The two films’ plot follows three Tricolore Abarths, one for each available color for the model, as they crisscross the cities of London and Turin in an attempt to deliver a ‘stolen’ Abarth. The Tricolore pack is fitted with a 140 hp 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16-valve engine that comes with a five speed manual gearbox.

Stylish equipment and features are likewise available which consist of 17-inch titanium ‘Formula’ alloy wheels, black Abarth side stripes and mirror caps, steering wheels with Tricolore detailing as well as red brake calipers.

The limited edition Abarth is also fitted with CD and MP3 with six speakers and Blue&Me hands-free system, power steering and air conditioning as standard equipment.

Abarth UK brand manager Gerry Southerington explains that the new mini-movies perfectly show the qualities of an Abarth 595, which is an excellent car for a fun and entertaining city and town driving experience, especially in the well-known cities of London and Turin where the commercial was shot.

Southerington added that considering the exclusivity of the new Tricolore pack at only 300 units, the new packs on the 595s is offered at a great price; the hardest thing for new owners will be to decide which color to choose.

The films are launched on-line a week ahead of the brand’s presence at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show and have achieved over half a million views across Abarth’s on-line platforms so far.

Applied to the Abarth 595, which is fitted with a 140 hp 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16-valve engine and sporty five speed manual gearbox, the Tricolore pack includes a host of stylish equipment. “With just 300 of the Tricolore packs available on the 595s, and at such a great price, we are sure we’ll attract a new wave of Abarth owners to come and join us. The hardest part will be deciding which colour to go for.”
