Ford’s back seat kit for Shelby GT350R Mustang turns it into a 4-seater

Article by Christian A., on January 27, 2016

Ford Motor Company is offering an upgrade for the Shelby GT350R – the back seat kit. This exciting feature sees the latest car emerging as the most track-ready, road-going four-seat Mustang ever produced.

With exquisite upholstery, contract stitching matching Shelby GT350R front seats, and an engineered back seat kit, Ford Performance affirms itself as a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction.

The company, based in Dearborn, Michigan, offers its customers more of the functionality they requested with the back seat kit featuring the same high-quality Alcantara material and high-contrasted accent stitching.

This stitching pattern is also found in the front seats. With this latest feature, the interior of the Shelby GT350R looks exquisite, and has a straight-from-the-factory look. The new Ford car also places a top priority on safety with the all original GT350 occupant restraint systems.

This back seat kit is available for $999 through Ford Performance Parts. To install the kit, it is advised (as a safety precaution) to call a Ford authorized dealer or service center. Want to learn more about Ford Motor Company and its automotive brand

BACK SEAT FUN GETS REVVED UP WITH NEW MUSTANG GT350R BACK SEAT KIT

Fun in the back seat has never been this exciting as Ford Performance debuts a new Ford-designed and engineered back seat kit that turns the Shelby® GT350R Mustang into a four-seater.

Gone are the days in which only two passengers could fit in the most track-ready, road-going production Mustang ever built. This new kit means Shelby GT350R is now the most track-ready, road-going four-seat Mustang ever built.

“We always listen to customer feedback,” said Dave Pericak, global director, Ford Performance. “So when many requested a back seat for their GT350R, we acted quickly to make it available.”

The kit features the same high-quality Alcantara material and high-contrast red accent stitching as the front seats for a beautiful, straight-from-the-factory look, and a consistent feel. With safety a top priority, it includes all original GT350 occupant restraint systems.

The back seat kit is available for $999 through Ford Performance Parts. It is recommended a Ford authorized dealer or service center perform the installation to help ensure safety for rear seat passengers.
