This year marks the 100th anniversary of BMW. To mark its centennial year, the German carmaker is releasing the BMW 7 Individual Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS, a 7 Series special edition. BMW is collaborating with luxury writing instruments manufacturer Montblanc in fulfilment of the BMW 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS. However, no pricing and availability details have been disclosed yet.
With its centenary offering, BMW highlights how much it values design and detail. Globally, only 100 models will be included in the BMW 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS, making it highly special. Buyers can choose among three different engine options depending on the market.
Currently, the only model available is the BMW 750Li powered by a 4.4-liter petrol V8 engine. The core has a power output of 450 hp, allowing the vehicle to accelerate up to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Later this year, BMW will be introducing two more models: the BMW 740Le iPerformance plug-in hybrid, which has a power output of 326 hp, and the BMW Individual M760Li xDrive Model V12 Excellence THE NEXT 100 YEARS, which is powered by an intense 6.6-liter v12 engine and the TwinPower Turbo system that delivers more than 600 hp.
The BMW Individual M760Li can accelerate up to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the BMW 750 Li and the BMW 740 Le iPerformance can be further upgraded with the xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
