Now, it is official. The BMW M4 CS (Club Sport) is the real thing. Since BMW has already ended the production of the track-focused M4 GTS, the M4 CS – for now – is the new top-of-the-range model of the BMW 4 Series. While BMW unveiled a BMW M4 CS in Spain a year ago, this was only a project of BMW Spain, and not created by BMW M GmbH.
This Spanish version was basically a BMW M4 with the Competition Package (M4 CP) with a massive carbon fiber wing on the rear. Then in January this year, a slightly camouflaged M4 test mule was spotted. We were sure it isn’t the M4 GTS, since its production has already ended. However, this test mule is laden with features from the M4 GTS like its bonnet. It also comes with some cosmetic tweaks from the recent Life Cycle Impulse of the BMW 4 Series.
Then, an M4 CS looking similar to the test mule in Sweden was seen doing a commercial shoot in California with BMW’s factory DTM driver Augusto Farfus Jr. Apparently, this is the real M4 CS that BMW is now introducing officially to the global market.
The BMW M4 CS will have a price of EUR 116,900.
