In order to celebrate its 95th anniversary in the UK, Bentley unveiled the ‘Mulsanne 95’, a special edition of its flagship sedan. If we already caught your attention, you have to know that Bentley will only build 15 examples of this special edition, each hand crafted by Bentley’s Mulliner division in Crewe and reserved only for customers in the United Kingdom.
As you can see from the photos, Bentley will offer three bespoke colours: Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White. These colours are complemented by some exterior design accents unique to Mulsanne 95, such as the dark tint finish given to the iconic Flying B bonnet mascot and the striking 21-inch five-spoke wheels.
Inside, the special edition models come with luxurious wood veneers and leather, as well as illuminated treadplates featuring a bespoke ‘Ninety Five’ lettering and union flag. In addition, the ’91 emblem’ was embroidered onto the front and rear seats.
According to Bentley, the Mulsanne 95 features a rare and noteworthy wood veneer selected by Bentley from a huge walnut tree – estimated to be between 300 and 400 years old. This wood came down at Fulbeck Hall in Lincolnshire during a heavy storm in 2007.
The Fulbeck Walnut veneer features in the signature ‘ring of wood’ that encompasses the entire interior. Furthermore, the veneers are complemented by a blue and white two-tone leather split with red contrast stitching.
