Article by Christian A., on June 14, 2012

Making its global debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed is a new Bentley model dubbed the EXP 9 F SUV concept. This new car is built in the Bentley tradition of incredible performance and the finest luxury. It will join the Supercar Run and will go up the Goodwood Hill. It will also appear on the Bentley Motors stand.

At this grand event, Bentley will display a group of contemporary and classic models that would its largest ever at the event. For this year, it runs from June 29 to July 1. The EXP 9 F SUV concept will be making its UK debut at this festival. EXP 9 F demonstrates the brand’s aim to produce the quickest and most luxurious SUV worldwide. The concept car has an amazing interior that’s at the height of craftsmanship and with the most advanced technology.

Meanwhile, its exterior is clean and muscular. This Bentley SUV is available with a range of drivetrain options and would have the performance that the marque is famous for. It is equipped with the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification (MDS), a new edition of the Bentley flagship that is focused on the driver to reaffirm its sporting credentials. The MDS features sports-tuned suspension and steering settings, one-of-a-kind 21” alloy wheels, and a Diamond Quilted interior. Driving becomes more pleasurable, matched with the comfort and refinement that could be expected from the Mulsanne.

In addition, the new Continental GT V8 appears both on the Bentley stand and on the Goodwood Hill. The Continental is powered by an all-new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that combines classic Bentley power and torque with an extraordinary power-to-emissions ratio in the high luxury sports car segment.

The GT V8 has an output of 507 PS and 660 Nm of torque, enabling the model to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds; and from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, as well as reach a top speed of 188 mph (303 km/h). On the other hand, fuel efficiency systems and pioneering cylinder deactivation technology mean that the vehicle offers exceptional fuel economy and CO2 performance. With these advancements, the vehicle can be driven more than 500 miles on a single tank.

Bentley will also bring at the Goodwood Festival of Speed a new model. Unfortunately, the British manufacturer didn’t say what it will bring but some sources say that it is the brand new Flying Spur!
