BMW is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its V12 engines this year. It was in 1987 when this powerplant made its debut inside the 750iL. There will only be 15 vehicles made in North America of the 2013 BMW 760Li V12 25 Years Anniversary Edition. Those interested may contact BMW Center for a special order. It will be priced at $159,695 (which includes the destination and handling. The 760Li has a 6.0-liter Twin Turbo V12 engine, which delivers 535-hp and 550 lb-ft of torque to enable it to accelerate to 60-mph in just 4.5 seconds. Meanwhile, the V12 25 Years Edition will feature the BMW Individual Champagne Full Merino Leather with black piping, unique to the model.
Further complementing the black contrast piping are black floor mats and rear footrests. The “V12 25 Years Edition” badging is featured on the door sills, headrests, and iDrive controllers. The special edition flagship sedan offers rear seat entertainment with iDrive control.
It also gets a set of 20-inch Individual wheels, an Alcantara headliner with a Champagne finish, all pillars done in black leather, rear parcel shelf in Anthracite Alcantara, BMW Individual Piano Black wood trim, Piano Black wood inlay in the steering wheel, and Shadowline exterior trim. Just 15 samples of this special edition 760Li will be built. BMW is offering a wide variety of exterior colors for this model. Buyers will also like its extra options.
