The features that characterize the present model ranges of BMW Group, including outstanding dynamics and remarkable efficiency in all vehicle classes, have been confirmed by the results of the readers' survey called 'The Most Sporting Cars 2009' conducted by Sport Auto, the German automotive journal.

Of the 16 categories for production cars, models from both BMW and MINI came in with a total of six titles, in addition to the six models from BMW Group who won honors in their corresponding class.

Thus, once more, the BMW Group dominated the readers' survey of Sport Auto, confirming the superb reputation of BMW and MINI products among sporting and dynamic car enthusiasts.

In all, there were two diesel and four gasoline models that won the 2009 readers' survey titles, including BMW Group Saloons, Coupes, Convertibles and Roadsters getting the honors in the different classifications. The BMW 3 Series, along with the BMW M3, won three out of four class titles.

In the category of saloons of up to 50,000 Euros, the BMW 335i got the title, for diesels above 35,000 Euros, the honor went to the BMW 335d Coupe, and in the price category of up to 80,000 Euros, the BMW M3 Saloon was voted a the Most Sporting Saloon.

In the Convertible category of up to 40,000 Euros, the BMW Z4 sDrive23i Roadster won the top spot. For Diesel Vehicles up to 35,000 Euros, the BMW 123d Coupe still reigns supreme just like it did last year. The MINI John Cooper Works won the Small Car category for two succeeding times already.
