Chevrolet unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014 the all-new Adra SUV Concept, a vehicle developed entirely by its Indian designers working on the GM Technical Centre-India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore. The new vehicle is believed to be a rival for the upcoming Vw Taigun, the Renault Duster as well as the popular Ford EcoSport.
As you can see from the photos, the Adra follows the traditional global Chevrolet design language but if you ask us, some angles resemble the Kia Soul.
Anyway, the Adra Concept wants to offer the advantages of a traditional SUV and features high ground clearance, a high seating stance but also plenty of interior space. “The Adra is a major achievement for our local designers, who conceptualized and designed the model from the ground up,” said Paddock. “It represents a new possibility for the fast-growing compact SUV segment.” [source: General Motors]
