Chrysler will start to offer a new special edition of the Ypsilon (the automaker’s first supermini) in the UK this month. This latest edition – dubbed Black&Red – is meant to appeal to new and different consumers to the model range and also to the Chrysler brand, which had recently been relaunched in the UK.
The new Black&Red is targeted at a wider audience as it doesn’t just have striking looks and comes with new features that offer style, technology and value for money. Nigel Land, brand director, Jeep Chrysler UK, said that the company is “delighted” about the launch of the new addition to the Ypsilon lineup.
He said that he is confident that the Black&Red would be a ”valuable member” of the Ypsilon family due to its extra features that are valued at over £3000 but are in a car that has a starting price of only £12,750. It is offered with three engines: 0.9-litre TwinAir and 1.2-litre petrol, and 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel.
The Black&Red also gets a series of standard interior features such as black and red fabric seat upholstery, dashboard and door linings, air conditioning, Blue&Me Bluetooth, and a 360-degree hi-fi system.
The exterior of this car received black and red bi-color paint, a set of 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, fog lamps, black glass and body-colored side skirts – which are all offered as standard. The car is even more attractive as Chrysler is presenting a zero deposit, £199 per month finance deal on the 1.2-litre version (£219 0.9-litre TwinAir, £239 1.3-litre). P.S.
