Chrysler reveals four 60-second spots

The Chrysler/Fiat group is launching four 60-second spots, a set that it considers as the “second half” after having debuted the two-minute "Halftime in America" commercial in the Super Bowl. The ad agency Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, is responsible for these spots, which are each intended for a different company brand.

Clint Eastwood is the narrator for these ads. Each of the spots follows the theme: "hope and encouragement.” These commercials will be seen during several network TV sporting events, including the men's basketball semifinals Saturday and finals on Monday. They will also be looking forward to the American Country Music Awards on Sunday on CBS, and on "Mad Men" on the AMC cable network.

Chrysler/Fiat's Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Franciois wrote in his blog that some scenes from the Super Bowl may be familiar in the new set of ads.

All of the spots were inspired by stories we've heard from people across the country, showing the things they are doing every day to move forward and win their own second half. The ads are each specifically targeted to the Chrysler, Jeep, Ram Truck and Dodge brands. So far, the YouTube video of the Eastwood commercial has been viewed by almost 11 million visitors on YouTube.
