Chrysler used-vehicles now available with Sirius XM Radio trial subscription

Article by Christian Andrei, on January 26, 2012

Sirius XM Radio Inc. said that customers who purchase a used vehicle from participating Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Truck dealerships could qualify for a free, three-month trial subscription to its satellite radio service. Sirius XM’s new offer comes less than a month after it introduced a similar initiative with the participating dealerships of AutoNation Inc.

These two programs make the free trial subscription available to consumers who purchase a used vehicle that features a factory-installed satellite radio already. In a statement, Sirius said that Chrysler Group will persist in offering new-vehicle buyers with a subscription to Sirius XM.

Dealers may get this program by request. On the Web site of Sirius XM, the company said that it has entered arrangements with all major automakers and that its service is offered on over 800 devices that range from pre-installed and aftermarket radios in cars, trucks and boats to smartphones and mobile devices.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 Luxury Series is probably the most fuel-efficient Chrysler flagship sedan to ever come out from this segment. Aside from its Pentastar V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, Chrysler has combined luxury with the most advanced features for safety and connectivity available. What’s more, this luxurious sedan is not only equipped with the most exotic leather but delivers world-class performance and impressive handling.

Chrysler Brand President and CEO Saad Chehab explained how the new 300 Luxury Edition is more than just a flagship model. The latest Chrysler 300 Luxury car is basically designed to deliver superior craftsmanship, fuel economy and the latest technology. Driving one is probably the most rewarding experience since it comes with paddle shifters for the 8-speed transmission. Moreover, the new model’s interior is made with the highest quality Italian Poltrona Frau leather with exotic wood finish.

Chrysler’s new flagship model may come with the optional V6 engine aside from the 300C for the top-of -the-line. The 5.7 L V8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology can produce as much as 363hp.

Expressive styling and world-class luxury are all in the new Chrysler’s very sumptuous interior design. Both the 300C and 300 edition’s instrument panel, door panels, centre console and cluster brow may be wrapped in either Mochachino or Black Poltrona Frau leather finish. The finest Nappa leather upholstery on the other hand was used for the armrests, centre console, seat bolsters and armrests at the door.
