A new range of products is now available in Driver’s Selection collection by Porsche Design, in time for the Christmas season. The items include watches and jackets as well as children’s toys and lifestyle accessories – all of which bear supreme Porsche quality coupled with modern and recognizable designs. The priciest of the Porsche watch collection is the 918 Spyder Sport Classic Chronograph, which can be acquired at £475.

918 Spyder Chronograph brings the principles of Porsche Intelligent Performance to a wristwatch and combines tough lightweight materials and contemporary design. Just 918 examples of the 918 Spyder Chronograph is available to interested buyers. All of them feature the striking Acid Green contrasts as well as an integrated carbon dial to underscore its high performance nature.

Also available in the collection is the award-winning Porsche Calendar at just £40.00. Porsche Calendars have been part of any Porsche enthusiast’s collection since 1954. It is aspired that the Porsche Calendar for 2013 would win another set of international design awards. The Porsche Calendar for 2013 carries a theme of ‘Mega Cities,’ showcasing all Porsche models against a backdrop of futuristic styling and city skylines. The Porsche Calendar for 2013 comes complete with an exclusive collector’s medal. Another item included in the Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design – in partnership with Primaloft -- is a range of lightweight outerwear that protects its wearer from the harsh elements this winter.

The Primaloft material is breathable but is windproof and warm. For practicality, both jackets could be folded up into an integrated inside pocket for easy storage. Offered in Coffee Brown, the men’s Primaloft features a fleeced inside collar and could be availed for just £189. The women’s Blue-colored Primaloft jacket, meanwhile, features quilted details and is available at £220. Children over the age of three are likewise considered in the collection.

Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design has also made available the new children’s pedal car, inspired by the looks of a Riviera Blue 911 Carrera. The pedal car comes with its own flat six engine sound and is available for £295. The pedal car features a highly ergonomic and adjustable sports seat, allowing children to enjoy their Porsche Driving Experience as they grow.

The Christmas season also signals the availability of the Porsche Calendar (£40), which has been offered for the keenest of Porsche fans and enthusiasts since 1954. Through the years, Porsche Calendar has earned several international design awards, and its 2013 edition should also be as stylish as its predecessors. For 2013, Porsche Calendar carries the ‘Mega Cities’ theme, thereby showcasing all of the carmaker’s Porsche models against a backdrop of city skylines and futuristic styling. Likewise, the 2013 futuristic styling will feature an exclusive collector’s medal, which has been included in this selection.

Aside from the Porsche Calendar, Porsche Driver’s Selection also includes a number of items and accessories. Some of these are created from the same original leather used in Porsche sports cars. For instance, the same leather used in Porsche cars’ interiors are also used on a mouse pad (£60) and black leather cases for iPad (£100) and iPhone (£50). All of the accessory collections in the Porsche Driver’s Selection come with the Porsche crest with the black leather cases for iPad and iPhone feature a padded protective cover.

Porsche Design For Christmas 2012

Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design has added a range of new products to its collection just in time for the festive season. From watches and jackets to children’s toys and lifestyle accessories, all items demonstrate supreme Porsche quality partnered with modern, yet recognisable designs.
At the pinnacle of the Porsche watch collection is the 918 Spyder Sport Classic Chronograph (£475). Bringing the principles of Porsche Intelligent Performance to a wristwatch, the 918 Spyder Chronograph combines robust yet lightweight materials and contemporary design. In line with its namesake, the 918 Spyder, the chronograph is limited to just 918 pieces and features the striking Acid Green contrasts highlighted on the car as well as an integrated carbon dial to emphasise its high performance nature.

This time of year also means the return of the Porsche Calendar (£40). Since 1954, Porsche Calendars have been a part of any Porsche enthusiast’s collection. Winning a number of international design awards over the years, it is hoped the calendar for 2013 will be no exception. With a theme of ‘Mega Cities’, it showcases all Porsche models against a backdrop of futuristic styling and city skylines. As has been the case since 1962, the calendar comes complete with an exclusive collector’s medal.

To stay protected against the harsh elements this winter, Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design has teamed up with Primaloft to create a lightweight outerwear range to keep you drier and warmer than ever before. Available for both men and women, the Primaloft material is breathable, and yet still windproof and warm. For practicality, both jackets fold up into an integrated inside pocket for easy storage. The women’s Primaloft jacket is available in Blue with quilted details (£220), whilst the men’s Primaloft detail features a fleeced inside collar and is offered in Coffee Brown (£189).

Driver’s Selection by Porsche Design hasn’t forgotten its youngest fans this Christmas. Designed in the style of a Riviera Blue 911 Carrera, the new children’s pedal car comes complete with its own flat six engine sound (£295). Suitable for children over the age of three, the highly ergonomic and adjustable sports seat means that they can carry on enjoying their Porsche Driving Experience as they grow.

Meanwhile, for more everyday items, original leather is used from Porsche sports cars to create lifestyle accessories, turning interiors into exteriors. From an iPad case (£100) to a mouse pad (£60), the same quality experienced in a Porsche cabin is demonstrated in the accessory collection. All products carry the Porsche crest while the black leather cases for iPhone (£50) and iPad are fully lined with a padded protective cover.
