DVLA Personalised Registrations releases list for Olympic-theme plates

DVLA Personalised Registrations has announced the full list of vehicle registrations that the public could acquire through an auction in June 2012, in celebration of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, to be held in London, United Kingdom. Up for grabs are 1,750 registrations especially made to mark the Olympics Games. Those interested can view the list at dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/auction/next.html.   DVLA Personalised Registrations, named as official licensee of London 2012, scheduled a three-day auction for the vehicle registrations to be held at London City Hall on June 7 to 9, 2012. The list includes vehicle registrations that allow drivers to support the country’s Olympic athletes like 2012 OG, GO11 DEN and WON 601D. The list also includes registrations that allow drivers to support individual sports like BMX 1X, CYC 111E, D155 CUS, GYM 734M, MEN 100M RUN 100M. Also available are vehicle registrations that allow motorists to support their favorite Olympic athletes like diver Tom Daley with DA11 LEY, long distance runner Mo Farah with FA12 RAH, and cyclist Sir Chris Hoy with 11 HOY.DVLA Personalised Registrations also included certain personalities like Lord Coe Chairman of London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) with SEB 60E, and London Mayor Boris Johnson with BOR 15X. Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Events Manager, said the vehicle registration auction is their own way of celebrating the 2012 Olympics the best way possible.
