Fast and Furious 6 will arrive in theaters on the 2013 Memorial Day

Do you never want to see the Fast and Furious series end? Well, it’s likely to end at some point but what we want to announce now is that the sixth installment will arrive on May 24, 2013. NBC Universal said that this is the expected preliminary release date for the Fast and Furious 6.

Not very many details are available. So far, it’s known that the actors that would be returning include: Michelle Rodriguez (who plays Letty), Vin Diesel (Dom), Paul Walker (Brian), Jordana Brewster (Mia), and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Chris Morgan will still be writing the script and Justin Lin would still be the director. According to Deadline.com, this will be their “most dangerous adventure yet.” It’s likely that they will maintain the formula, considering that it has been very successful. Fast Five is Universal’s biggest opening weekend ever.

At the box office, it earned almost $600 million. It’s rumored that the Fast and Furious 6 will be titled Sixth Gear and that it will be in Europe, probably Germany, and that its story took place before Tokyo Drift (2006).

There may have been some who complained the fifth Fast and Furious movie didn’t have enough car chases but definitely, the sixth one will pack more heist action.
