Ferrari announces free Roadside Assistance service for all vehicles without warranty

Article by Christian Andrei, on August 29, 2010

Ferrari's range of services remains unmatched as it launches the new "With You" roadside assistance to owners of all Prancing Horse cars built since 1947 and not covered by existing factory or POWER warranties.

This scheme, which is provided free of charge, spans 12 months and can be activated immediately if you're in Italy but will be extended to other European countries in the near future. Great Britain is next on the scheme.

The plan does not only allow for the 12 months of roadside assistance, it also covers expenses made in returning home or in reaching the Ferrari Authorized Service Center where the car was taken. If a hotel stay was required due to the owner's inability to return home or continue with the journey, Ferrari shoulders the expense too.

The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In Italy, contact the Ferrari Client Service number 800080202 for activation.

Along with the three-year manufacturer's warranty provided with each new car, all Authorized Ferrari Dealerships and Service Centers offer extended warranty cover for cars up to 10 years from the date of their first registration through the POWER program.

In addition there is also the Ferrari Approved program, which provides warranty cover for all used Ferraris up to 10 years of age.
