As you may know already Ford revealed the 2011 F-150 (you can read the article here) and besides this, the manufacturer also announced that the Lariat Limited will return for the 2011 model year.
The new 2011 F-150 Lariat Limited will be powered by the 6.2-liter V8 rated at 411 horsepower (found also on the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor) and will be manufactured in a limited edition of just 3,500 units in the United States.
The new car will be available only in a White Platinum tri-coat, will feature chrome details and finish, including chrome surround in the unique grille, chrome-trimmed power-deployable running boards, chrome tie-down hooks and chrome “Limited” box-side lettering.
Furthermore, the exterior of the vehicle will include blacked-out headlamps and taillamps, body-color grille billets and unique lower fascia.
The design of the car is completed by the 22-inch polished forged aluminum wheels with body-color accents but also by the specially tuned suspension which makes the car look better and improves the handling.
Inside, we will find premium two-tone leather seat inserts as well as a steering wheel wrapped in leather with painted switch bezels, ambient lightning, brushed-metal “Limited” scuff plates and a wrapped center console lid with accent stitching. The design of the interior is completed by the chrome ornament and engraved serialization plate with the vehicle identification number.
The 2011 F-150 comes with a vast assortment of powertrain options matched by a wider range of features and expanded content. These new customer conveniences at hand include a 4.2-inch LCD message center plus a larger rear view camera screen in the rearview mirror.
The latest clusters consist of the offered 4.2-inch LCD message center screen display of menu options including information associated with towing performance, off-roading and fuel economy. The menu can be navigated using a five-way button located on the steering wheel. The rear view camera screen in-mirror option is larger at 3.5 inches from the former 2.5 inches and has a higher resolution than the previous version. Moreover, drivers can choose to zoom in/out to help them particularly in towing operations like towing hookup.
Additional new standard content comprise telescoping steering wheel, Remote Start, HD Radio, express up and down windows in front, three-point safety belt plus head restraint for the front seat middle passenger, perimeter alarm and 110-volt outlet.
