Francois Goupil de Bouille appointed Infiniti Vice President, Global Operations

Infiniti has a new Vice President of Global Operations -- François Goupil de Bouillé. He took on the position on March 1. He is tasked to manage the global business of Infiniti Sales, Aftersales, Retail Network Development and Customer Care. He also takes total market responsibility for the Asia/Oceania region of Infiniti.

Goupil de Bouillé is now Hong Kong-based and he reports directly to the President of Infiniti Motor Company Ltd., Johan de Nysschen.

Goupil de Bouillé used to be the Vice President and Managing Director for Nissan’s Region East where he worked to boost the markets in Russia and the Ukraine. As a result, Nissan experienced its biggest growth in these markets in recent years. De Nysschen described Goupil de Bouillé to be a terrific addition to Infiniti’s team.

He also said that Goupil de Bouillé will have a major role in its goal to experience major growth globally due to his track record and international expertise. For 30 years, Goupil de Bouillé worked at Ford and Nissan. He had also served as an executive in the Sales, Marketing & Aftersales segments of automakers in countries like France, Hungary, Switzerland and Russia.

Nissan became the top Japanese brand in Russia under his direction as its annual sales tripled from 50,000 to 150,000. Before working in Russia, Goupil de Bouillé had functioned as the Managing Director of Nissan Sales, Central & Eastern Europe and as the Vice President, Sales, for Nissan Europe.
