Infiniti, Bell Ross unveil Limited Edition BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial wristwatch

Article by Christian A., on September 9, 2011

Japan-based luxury vehicle brand Infiniti has launched the Limited Edition BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial wristwatch, the second exclusive timepiece that the company has introduced.

This timepiece was engineered by Bell & Ross, a Swiss specialist time instrument manufacturer. The first watch that Infiniti has brought to the public was the special edition BR03-92 Instrument Phantom, which commemorates the arrival of the Infiniti FX Limited Edition performance crossover in 2010.

The latest timepiece was designed to celebrate the continued success of the collaboration between Bell & Ross and Infiniti, two brands known for modern luxury, exceptional performance, a unique ownership experience and technical perfection.

Only 200 units of the BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial series are available for sale in any Infiniti Centre across the world including the 45 outlets in Europe, at a recommended retail price of £3,090.

The exclusive timepiece has stylish yet subtle cues derived from the partnership between Bell & Ross and Infiniti. The seconds pointer as well as the eighth digit sitting on a matt black dial, features a photo-luminescent finish in the same distinct purple color that Infiniti used all over the world.

In Asia, the number ‘eight’ is a symbol of luck. It also symbolizes the mathematical sign of infinity as well as the car manufacturer’s badge when rotated on its side. Furthermore, the steel case back for this special timepiece has been beautifully engraved with the Infiniti signature, complementing the Bell & Ross insignia.

The elegant watch has been designed to mark the continued and successful collaboration between Infiniti and Bell & Ross, two marques renowned for exceptional performance, modern luxury, technical perfection, and a unique ownership experience. Andy Palmer, Infiniti’s Executive Vice President explains: “The Limited Edition BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial wristwatch is a true celebration of our continued association with Bell & Ross, for which we are very proud. The new timepiece effortlessly embodies the unique qualities of both brands to offer discerning customers a rare and highly sought-after addition to their collection.”
