Joey Ruiter creates the Reboot Buggy, a vehicle that lets you feel the road

Article by Christian Andrei, on August 7, 2013

This is the Reboot Buggy, a vehicle built by Joey Ruiter. The well-known designer decided to build a car, first of all because he wanted to learn how a vehicle is made but the second reason is more interesting. Apparently, Ruiter has a point, because he says that the new automobiles are about the fluff, the marketing, the gadgets and he simply wants to go back to the drive, when the driver was enough.

Now, the cars feature multiple covers, one for the engine, a hood covered in paint and a cover to protect the paint, etc. And he is right! Old cars are better and now everything seems gotten out of control The new Reboot Buggy is the car that can be driven anywhere, you don’t need roads for that or any infrastructure.

Moreover, it is a car that can be fixed in any town, although most parts can take a pretty good beating. The result, can be seen in the photo gallery and with this occasion we congratulate him for making us remember that the real car is the one that lets you feel the road, hear the motor and makes you understand what is happening around it mechanically.
