Ken Block to perform amazing stunts at Top Gear Live

Article by Christian Andrei, on October 22, 2012

Do you want to see YouTube sensation, extreme sportsman Ken Block, in person as he performs amazing stunts with his souped-up Ford Fiesta rally car? Then be at the Top Gear Live show at Birmingham’s NEC on October 25 to 28. Block’s stunt-filled Gymkhana viral videos have been seen over 200 million times on YouTube. Block will be showing off his madcap motoring moves at both of his action-packed Track Performances on Thursday.

Don’t miss this Top Gear Live performance since it’s rare for Block and his Monster World Rally Team to make the appearance. Fans will be witnessing a remarkable display of car control via a series of tire trashing drifts and donuts. The indoor Track Performance arena at the NEC won’t offer the same backdrop as Block’s latest Gymkhana episode on the streets in San Francisco. This isn’t the first time for Block to be seen on the BBC Top Gear television programme.

About two years ago, he took James May, one of the presenters, for a few hundred spins around an empty airport. The live Arena Performance will be hosted by May, together with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. They will cover all nine of the Track Performances spread out in the four days at the NEC. Some Top Gear Live shows have already completely sold out but there are still a few tickets available for this Thursday’s performance with Ken Block and his Monster World Rally Team.
