Ken Block’s Gymkhana FIVE: Ultimate Urban Playground in San Francisco

Article by Christian A., on July 15, 2012

We can now view new and exclusive images of the much-awaited fifth instalment of the highly awarded viral video franchise for Ken Block’s Gymkhana FIVE: Ultimate Urban Playground; San Francisco on youtu.be/LuDN2bCIyus. What happens this time is that Block’s Gymkhana delivers 246 ‘horses’ (250PS) in the form of the new Focus ST with San Francisco city as the backdrop.

Block said that the target is to make the next one better since he always thinks that what’s finished at that moment is the best one so far. The new Focus ST, Ford’s first global performance car, was developed jointly by Ford’s Team RS in Europe and its Special Vehicles Team (SVT) in the U.S.

With a starting price of £21,995, the car started selling in 40 countries this year, with the first UK deliveries expected this September. For the first time ever, we will get our first look of a special behind-the-scenes film, demonstrating what it took for Gymkhana FIVE to come to life in late August.
