Knight XV gets updated for the 2012 MY

The 2012 MY version of the Knight XV from Canadian firm Conquest Vehicles has arrived. It features a very rugged construction and yet, it has a highly luxurious interior. The new vehicle is wider and longer (resulting to a bigger interior space) and has received several improvements.

It’s priced at quite a hefty $629,000 (EUR439,000), making everyone wonder just what it has to offer. The 2012 MY version features a redesigned cabin. Exterior changes include the front fascia and the hood.

It is offered with an interesting lineup of optional features. Customers can choose whether to get the Luxury Group, the Security Group, or any of the Stand Alone Upgrades.

The Luxury Group offers the following features: electrostatic tinting (rear windows, sunroofs, partition), rear power windows, retractable ballistic glass partition, retractable flat screen television, siren, 2-way PA system with loud speaker, hidden front VIP strobes lights, forward and backup sensors and an external intercom communication system and Playstation3 or Xbox entertainment system, a VIP package inclusion of decanter bar, cooler box, and a cigar humidor.

The Security Group includes under-vehicle explosive protection system, opaque floor armor protection upgrade, under vehicle magnetic attachment detector, Black box, security safe, fire extinguisher, exterior surveillance camera system, positive pressure defense system against gas attacks, oxygen survival kit which offers protection against tear (CN/CS) as well as solid, liquid and gases contaminants.
