Lamborghini Aventador SV will make its debut in 2015

Article by Christian Andrei, on July 3, 2014

According to TeamSalamone, the new Lamborghini Aventador SV (SuperVeloce) will be unveiled in the coming months and after than, they will get the first one. Although the SuperVeloce version of the Aventador is not quite a surprise as we already knew it was coming, we didn’t know yet when it will be unveiled.

Just like the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, the new Aventador SV will be lighter than the standard version and more powerful.

For example, the Murcielago LP 670-4 SV was 100 kg lighter (1,565 kg) than the current version and received a power boost of 30 hp, which means that the 6.5-liter V12 engine delivered 670 hp and 660 Nm of torque.

As a result, it was capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, while top speed was 342 km/h (212 mph). The current Aventador uses the same 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque.

With a total weight of 1,575 kg, the Lamborghini Aventador accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, while top speed is 350 km/h (217 mph). We expect the new Lamborghini Aventador SV to be even quicker than the standard model. More details to be revealed!
