The 2014 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe showed its face on the Web today as some photos that show company’s 4-Series Cabriolet, Coupe and the 3-Series Sedan. Set to make its official debuts in March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe will get frameless doors, just like its main rival, the Audi A5 Sportback, as well as the same wheelbases used by the 3-Series Sedan and 4-Series Coupe.
Just like the 4-Series Coupe and Cabriolet versions, the 4-Series Gran Coupe will receive he same engines, which means it will use the 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line petrol engine that generates 306 hp (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque (435i Gran Coupe). The 428i Gran Coupe will get the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine developing 245 hp (180 kW) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
A 2.0-liter diesel engine with 184 hp will be available on the 420d Gran Coupe, while the 435d Gran Coupe will be the most powerful diesel-powered model as it will use a 3.0-liter diesel engine delivering 313 hp (230 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque.
