Leaked: Seat patent drawings emerge on the web

Article by Christian A., on August 29, 2010

There's no evidence nor is there any confirmation that these SEAT patent drawings are authentic but we´ve decided to bring them to you anyway for you to judge for yourself.

Posted on the Spanish decoes blog, these drawings aren´t attached to any other form of information. The source of the images is unknown and there are no available details about the models shown in these drawings.

So far, we can only guess if the drawings originated from SEAT (a Spanish brand in VW Group's portfolio) or if they were the work of an independent artist who simply wanted to show us his vision of the SEAT family identity is.

The list of potential future SEAT vehicles is a long one. First, there is the revised version of the Altea Multi Purpose Vehicle, which is expected to enter the market later this year. Next, there's a vehicle that appears to be the sports coupe version of the Leon compact.

Being familiar with SEAT terminologies, we take this to mean that this will be a sporty three door hatchback.

Many also believe that SEAT will release a reworked Audi TT but this is quite unlikely since it would resemble too closely the model on which it is based on. Also included in this list is the SEAT incarnation of the Audi A5 Sportback.
