A teaser video of Jeep’s advertising campaign for the 2011 Wrangler has recently been released. Music Lenny Kravitz is featured in these ads that will use "Rock Star City Life," a new track from Kravitz’s ninth studio album titled "Black and White America." More ads for the 2011 Jeep Wrangler will debut on Jeep’s social media outlets in the month of June.
The 2011 Jeep features an all -new interior that provides rich styling with considerably upgraded touch surfaces, occupant comfort and versatility.
Its appearance is enhanced wit the use of an all-new body color hard top for the Sahara model. Mike Manley, Jeep Brand President and CEO, Chrysler Group LLC, described Kravitz as “an outstanding singer, songwriter and performer” who has long been the owner of a Jeep and is a true fan of the brand.
He reiterated the Jeep brand’s core values of an “authentic style, a no holds barred-adventurous approach to life, as well as mastering the ability to withstand the test of time."
Two new commercials – “Extraordinary Adventure Swamp" and "Swamp Thing” – are set to launch the campaign for the 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The ad titled “Extraordinary Adventure" places Kravitz going on a journey that is never ordinary because he’s in a Jeep Wrangler.
Inside the 2011 Wrangler, it is clear that Jeep spared no expense in making sure that its features are among the best. Take the new steering wheels for instance. Controls have been placed on it allowing the driver to easily operate some features like hands-free phone, cruise control, and even the radio. There are other functions that can be controlled as well, all without the need to remove the driver’s hands from the steering wheel.
The instrument panel was also redesigned. It still has the Media Center but it now has a USB in order for occupants to connect and use their storage devices. The same Media Center also now allows streaming of audio through Bluetooth. The interior also boasts of using improved materials with the storage areas having been enhanced for better ergonomics. Its console is now lockable and the center stack has been redesigned to make it simple to operate and reach.
Meanwhile, the door armrest areas have been improved as well in order to have comfortable touch points. Power mirrors, which are heated as well, are now available and with the larger windows in the rear, both drivers and the passengers will be able to appreciate the superior visibility. Another distinguishing feature in the interior is the addition of 110-volt outlets and 1-volt accessory outlets, the ones that we typically see at home. Consistent with the standard design from Jeep, all throughout the interior, hex-head bolts are used. These same bolts are also the ones used to mount, on its passenger grad handle, the "Jeep, Since 1941" lettering.
Acoustical treatment is present as well with the engineers making sure to increase this in order to lower the noise in the interior. Without a doubt, by mixing standard-setting capability with a new interior, Jeep has managed to still enhance the already successful Wrangler formula. This is an interior that offers a rich style especially with the focus on occupant comfort, its versatility, and the improved touch surfaces. Given that the premium appearance is the hardtop that comes in body color. This hardtop is present for models of the 2011 Wrangler and the Wrangler Unlimited Sahara.
