Lexus announces The Crafted Line for 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Article by Christian A., on August 6, 2014

For the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Lexus prepared The Crafted Line, a new family of vehicles offered in Ultra White and Obsidian exteriors with Red interiors. In addition, the vehicles are offered with a two-piece TUMI duffel bag set that was exclusively designed for these models.

This special edition is available for the LS 460 F Sport, GS 350 F Sport and the IS 250 F Sport in all-weather drive and rear-wheel drive, but also for the RX 350 AWD F Sport and ES 350.

As we said, all Crafted Line vehicles feature an Ultra White exterior with contrasting black door handles, side mirrors and grille. Meanwhile, the interior features eye-catching seats with contrast stitching, headrests and door panels in two-tone Black/Scarlet or Black/Cabernet.

According to Lexus, The Crafted Line comes with Navigation and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. In order to make the new edition even more special, Lexus joined forces with TUMI and created an exclusive luggage set inspired by the new Crafted Line models.

As a result, the new luggage set features the legendary FXR ballistic nylon in black paired with white trim and zippers. Both bags feature a white, leather-trimmed luggage tag featuring the Lexus Logo, while inside the TUMI duffels are lined with gunmetal nylon material decorated with an embossed grid pattern.

Similar to The Crafted Line, the TUMI duffel bags featured red interior stitching. If you will be a Crafted Line owner you will also receive from Lexus a complimentary Meguiar’s New Car Care Kit.

The Crafted Line will have a starting price of approximately $42,000 for the ES 350 excluding the $925 delivery charge, but the full pricing list will be announced closer to the launch date in November.

So, if you are interested in buying one, you’d better know that Lexus will only offer 750 units of the LS 460 F Sport, 875 units of the GS 350 F Sport, 1,375 units of the IS 250 F Sport, 1,500 units of the ES 350 and 1,500 units of the RX 350 F Sport. [source: Lexus]
