Lexus’ flagship LS 460 model for 2012 has received several improvements, according to the brand’s North American division. Powering the model is a 4.6-liter V8 engine that develops 380hp and 367 lb.-ft. of torque in rear-wheel-drive configuration as well as 357hp and 344 lb.-ft. of torque with AWD. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

A Sport Package is offered but it’s exclusively for the LS 460 RWD model. Brembo brakes are found behind the 19-inch split 10-spoke forged alloy wheels.
Furthermore, this option features sporty exterior styling with a unique Aero kit. The LS 460 Sport features an exclusive perforated Black/Saddle leather interior with sport front seats, a distinct leather-trimmed steering wheel and paddle shifters for the eight-speed automatic transmission with throttle blip downshifting.
In addition, the LS 460 AWD models and the LS 460 L are offered with the Variable Gear-Ratio Steering (VGRS), and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Offered as standard on the LS are a slide-away feature for the driver’s seat, a multi-information display, and a navigation and audio system. Lexus offers four leather and wood-trimmed interior combinations. The Nebula Gray Pearl exterior color has replaced Smoky Granite Mica.
