Lotus debuts the Exige LF1 Limited Edition

Lotus unveiled today the Exige LF1, a limited edition of the Exige S inspired by the Lotus F1 Team. As you can see from the photos, the limited Exige S comes with a Lotus F1 Team inspired livery and interior trim in order to commemorate the number of grand prix victories of the Lotus marque.

The Exige LF1 Limited Edition is powered by a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 engine that develops 345 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). With these engine, the Exige LF1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds, while the sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) is made in 3.8 seconds.

Top speed is limited at 170 mph or 274 km/h. Regarding the design, the 2014 Lotus Exige LF1 Limited Edition comes with bespoke black and gold livery with red accents, bespoke exterior badges with ‘LF1’ logo, and black and gold ‘Lotus’ nose badge and wheel centres. Inside, we find bespoke leather and technical fabric with black and gold design as well as gold contrast piping and stitching details, embroidered ‘Lotus F1 Team’ logo on the seat backs.

The exterior design is completed by the matte gold 5-spoke 17-inch/18-inch cast alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo tyres. Behind these wheels we find two-piece high performance brake discs, red and red brake calipers.

In addition, the Exige LF1 comes with air conditioning, an individually numbered limited edition carbon fiber plaque and bespoke carbon fiber engine plate. As an option, Lotus offers the Convenience Pack, heated seats and rear parking sensors.

If you consider buying this limited edition Exige LF1, you’d better know that Lotus will only build 81 units.
