Having some long haulage logistics problems this Christmas season? Then Mercedes-Benz’s heavy duty truck, the Mercedes-Benz Actros, could be the right solution for you. The Mercedes-Benz Actros definitely lives up to its long-haulage reputation, as it boasts of fuel tank volume of up to 1,480 liters, allowing it to cruise up to 3,859 miles before stopping for diesel refuel.

Once an average 30-tonne trailer is attached to the back of the Actros, Mercedes’ heavy duty truck could deliver up to 27,200 turkeys in one trip! The Mercedes-Benz Actros also features new heating system perfect for the cold winter nights, endowed with several innovations. The standard hot-water auxiliary heating can be used to heat the cab as high as 32 degrees.

Mercedes also offers an optionally available multifunctional key for the Actros that allows the driver to perform several functions from the comfort of his home without needing to go outside in the cold.

The key serves as an extended central locking system and enables operation of the level control, adding to the enjoyable experience of an Actros driver. These features and others have allowed the Mercedes-Benz Actros to earn the award as the 2012 Truck of the Year. Surely, the Mercedes-Benz Actros gets the job done both with its features and its workload ability.
