Article by Christian A., on February 11, 2011

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force led by stylist Brad Goreski and a team of Fashion Enforcers will be going around New York City for five days using a 2012 CLS 63 AMG. Upon catching a stylesetter, the CLS 63 AMG Fashion Force car outfitted in its official badging will pull over and offer a reward of a ride to the next destination.

The stylesetters picked out by the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force will get their pictures taken and several will be invited to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week runway shows as well to the official fashion force culmination event, hosted by Brad Goreski in the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge.

In a statement for the press, Goreski said that the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force car is a statement of how New York is one of the greatest fashion capitals of the world and of the New Yorkers’ individualistic style.

Included in the Fashion Enforcers are some of the leading fashion bloggers: Lauren Sherman of Fashionista.com, Jace Lipstein of Grungygentleman.com, Leandra Medine of manrepeller.com and Kristian Laliberte of Refinery29.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force car is the company’s way of making a statement on why New York continues to be one of the best, if not the greatest, fashion capital in the world. The very confident approach to a rather individualistic style is what many people try to discover in the Big Apple.

The statement was made by stylist Brad Goreski who is part of the Fashion Enforcers that also include other leading fashion bloggers like Jace Lipstein of Grungygentleman.com, Kristian Laliberte of Refinery29, Lauren Sherman of Fashionista.com, and Leandra Medine of manrepeller.com.

According to Lisa Holladay, who is the manager of brand experience for Mercedes-Benz USA, Mercedes-Benz has always had a natural affinity with the fashion world especially with cars that contain a strong sense of style.

In particular, the four-door 2012 CLS 63 AMG coupe is truly the perfect vehicle for this initiative as it has both a significant curb appeal and a fascinating design. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Force started its patrol on February 10th and will continue until February 14th.
