Mercedes-Benz is providing golden shuttle vehicles for Palme d’Or VIPs

Mercedes-Benz and its performance arm Mercedes-AMG are playing a major in the ongoing Cannes International Film Festival, providing a fleet of golden shuttle vehicles for VIP guests in the entire duration of the event, from May 16 to 27, 2012. Mercedes-Benz and AMG’s golden shuttle vehicles are a tribute to the 65th anniversary of the Palme d'Or, which means Golden Palm.

Mercedes-Benz and AMG will also offer other shuttle services during the festival. The company and its AMG brand will also showcase vehicles and offer exclusive test drives to guests and visitors during the event. Mercedes-Benz has prepared a very special vehicle exclusively made to arrive at the Cinema Against AIDS Gala on May 24, 2012, organized by Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

The vehicle, a golden Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG "45th Anniversary" special edition sports car, was in celebration of the AMG performance brand’s 45th year. Mercedes-Benz is co-sponsoring the gala, which is regarded as one of the most significant events during the Cannes International Film Festival. Attendees of the gala will arrive at the red carpet gala riding shuttle vehicles provided by Mercedes-Benz.

AMG, meanwhile is sponsoring the likewise prominent "Le Club by Albane" at the J.W. Marriott hotel, as well as the “IWC Filmmakers Dinner” at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 21, 2012.  AMG will likewise provide an exclusive shuttle service that features various vehicles to attendees of the event. The new Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG "45th Anniversary" will also be featured at the “IWC Filmmakers Dinner.”
