Mercedes-Benz teases new AMG model for the 2013 LA Auto Show

Article by Christian A., on November 14, 2013

Mercedes-Benz’s AMG will bring at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show a new model and released two teasers on its Google+ page. Unfortunately, AMG declined to tell us what model it is. We believe that this could be the SLS AMG Final Edition, as this model is expected to debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The teasers show a carbon fiber front lip spoiler as well as new wheels painted in black. Still, this isn’t the only AMG model that is set to debut at the 2013 LA Auto Show. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG will also make its world debut.

This model was already revealed last Friday and it uses a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine rated at 630 hp (463 kW) and 1000 Nm of torque. As a result, it is capable to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h or 155 mph. Despite these numbers, the 2014 S65 AMG has a fuel consumption of 11.9 litres per 100 km.
