NADA Guides launches iPhone site to help car shoppers find, price vehicles

Article by Christian Andrei, on September 11, 2010

Car shoppers may now use a free iPhone site to help them find a new vehicle. This feature, which was developed by NADA Guides, is meant to tap into the rising demand for shopping tools and information on the go.

Users of the site can build and price new cars with options and research used-car pricing and information from a hand-held device.

A division of the National Automobile Dealers Association, NADA Guides said that the site provides access to invoice, sticker price, trade-in and retail pricing and information for models back to 1991.

In a statement, Don Christy Jr., president of NADA Guides, said that the mobile site, which is the first of several products, will answer the need for instant mobile access to NADA Guides car pricing and content.

It also stated that it will give similar information on many platforms, beginning with the iPhone and followed by other mobile devices and applications.

Christy said that NADA Guides thinks of itself as a data and technology company, which provide what consumers need currently and in the years to come.

To access the site, go to www.nadaguides.com on a mobile device to be automatically redirected. [via autonews - sub. required]
