Nissan Motor GB has inked an exclusive three-year deal with tool companies Stanley and DEWALT to supply 13 Nissan Navara 4x4s for their retail, trade and road show teams. Nissan Motor GB’s black 2.5dCi diesel Navara pick-ups have been customised to fit the needs of the tool brands. The Navara pickups feature fitted internal racking, secure shelving and product storage space.

They were also endowed with space for branding, demonstration tents and merchandising materials. Stanley and DEWALT are expected to use branded Navaras for a variety of experiential activities to increase their presence at trade counters, dealer days and national trade shows.

The deal is part of Stanley and DEWALT’s strategic aim to reach out to trade professionals and highlight the advantages of their products. Stanley and DEWALT’ are planning to visit several key Screwfix stores across the United Kingdom and to hold product demonstrations at B&Q and Homebase stores for trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

James Douglas, Corporate Sales Director at Nissan Motor GB, said the deal with Stanley and DEWALT allows the company to work with two of the best brand names in the DIY sector.

Douglas added that the partnership will help build Nissan’s strong reputation for serving the business community with its extensive range of vans and pick-ups. John Cowley, general manager at Stanley Black & Decker UK & ROI, expressed excitement about the deal, saying that they will benefit from the eye-catching branding of the Navaras, helping the tool brands create a stronger brand impression during demonstrations.
