Peugeot confirms specifications of 508 Saloon HYbrid4, 508 RXH

Peugeot has revealed the specifications for the 508 Saloon HYbrid4 and the 508 RXH, which both use the newest modular hybrid technology launched as a world first on the 3008 HYbrid4. They use the successful 2.0-liter HDi 163 Diesel engine to generate power for the front wheels and combine it with a 37bhp electric motor in order to drive rear wheels.

This ground-breaking modular solution is now being put into use in the bigger platform 508 automobiles that boost overall driving experience and product flexibility. The 508 RXH is a customized derivative with a characteristic appearance, all-route capability and high-end appearance. On the other hand, the 508 Saloon HYbrid4 utilizes its hybrid powertrain to optimize driving performance, versatility and economy. Both vehicles benefit from the lowest-in-sector taxation.

The Peugeot 508 Saloon HYbrid4 is fitted with an all-inclusive specification that is similar to the well-specified 508 Allure but with the HYbrid4 technology benefits.

Among the standard features are the keyless entry with Stop/Start button, automatic parking brake with Hill Assist, cruise control with speed limiter, electric folding door mirrors, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance.

The Peugeot Connect Navigation (RT6) with Bluetooth also comes as standard, along with 18-inch alloy wheels, half leather seats and automatic headlamps and wipers.

Meanwhile, the 508 RXH is a top-of-the-line, distinctive, premium specification automobile with features which are over and above the 508 Saloon HYbrid4. It exclusively comes with the HYbrid4 powertrain and SW estate body style, exuding a raised stance and original-style features. It also comes with bespoke 18-inch Attila alloy wheels.

The vehicle also boasts of front and back parking aid and parallel parking assist, Colour Head Up display, panoramic glass roof, acoustic laminated side windows with tint on rear and USB point.

The major advantage for 'user choosers' is the very low Benefit-in-Kind taxation which is 12% on 508 RXH and 10% on 508 Saloon HYbrid4. For businesses, the two vehicles attract 100% Capital Write-down Allowance, which means that there is no further value to be carried over for taxation into the next year.
