Philip Allan has been appointed as the new National Fleet and Business Sales Manager for Seat UK as part of the company's efforts to maintain its burgeoning reputation within the fleet sector of the country. He is joining the Spanish brand at the dawn of one of its most exiting periods in history. For one, the recent iteration of its bestselling Ibiza supermini has just hit the showrooms in the United Kingdom.
In addition, a major offensive of new products such as the Mii city automobile is just around the corner. Allan has a wealth of experience when it comes to the fleet industry, as he has served as the National Fleet Sales Manager at Nissan. He later joined Renault UK where he was Head of Leasing, overseeing considerable growth in contract hire share.
Allan will be reporting directly to Steve Robertson, who is Head of Fleet at Seat UK. He will be responsible for turning the company's new models into firm fleet favorites similar to the reputation obtained by the Leon hatchback, acclaimed Alhambra MPV and Exeo executive saloon and estate. He will oversee a Fleet and Business Sales team with nine dedicated members.
Philip will also have a major role in the mission of Seat to be a fleet manufacturer of choice, delivering on its dedication to enhance customer experience and build on the brand's latest growth record in this market segment.
Allan commented that all the "elements are in place" for the automaker to be a "major force" in the fleet sector of the UK. Moreover, he stated that the Seat's product range is "already excellent" and its Ecomotive models, which have low carbon dioxide emissions and "incredible" fuel economy, provide them with a "significant competitive advantage in some areas."
