Porsche Design introduces new driver’s selection inspired by 60s and 70s

Porsche Design pays homage to the classic styling of the late 1960s in its new summer collection composed of clothing items, accessories and sports equipment. Shirts for children as well as adults are priced at £25 and £39, respectively. The contrasting blocks of colors and cars from this period are used in the stylish messenger bag (with a price tag of £85) and shopping bag (£89). Both of these are built from durable and weatherproof truck tarpaulin.

It also sells household items in these motifs such as the set of Glass Coasters at £40, the Collector’s Cup No.12 at £15 and the Breakfast boards that cost £15. These could be used either as chopping boards or placemats. Another good buy is the £40 umbrella that features the two-tone Colours of 1968 print.

The range uses the characteristic light blue, dark blue and red stripes. The style and performance of the race cars of the period are the inspiration for the collection’s design.

Fans of Porsche and motorsport would look at the collection and this will evoke a lot of memories. What’s new in this collection are the Martini Racing Sportsline Jackets, which come in white for ladies (priced at £175), dark blue for men (with a price of £175) and a limited edition red that’s for men too (£190).

These jackets are windproof and super lightweight and are appropriate wear for any time of the year. It also offers £60 Martini Racing longsleeve tops for men and women that are white but has details using the Martini colors.

During hot weather, these £55 deep blue polo shirts would be perfect. The Martini racing baseball cap is available for £20. Another item new to this collection are the very stylish Aviator Sunglasses (£150) that have a blue trimming.

Men and women may wear these sunglasses, which bear a simple Martini logo detail on the side of the frames. Its grey lenses are 100% UV protective. A range of sports equipment is also available from this collection. It offers the Speedminton set, a high performance badminton kit, for £125.
