Porsche will offer more high-end special editions of its vehicles

The 2015 Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive Exclusive models sold out within 48 hours, a fact that encouraged the German carmaker to offer more high-end special editions. Wolfgang Hatz a.k.a. Porsche’s head of research and development said that the response for the Panamera Turbo S Exclusive was impressive, they also learned from the project and they will do more in the future.

Priced from 249,877 euros in Germany, the Panamera Turbo S Exclusive Edition was limited to just 100 unit, each featuring a graduated paintwork as well as special 20-inch wheels in the Sport Classic design, painted in deep black metallic.

The interior was also special and featured seats as well as lower door panels covered in Poltrona Frauu leather in the Agatha Chestnut Brown colour. In addition, the upper door trim is in black milled nappa leather, with chestnut brown stitching in selected places.

Also a premiere is the Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus, fitted with two high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreen with built-in camera and integrated DVD player.

Under the hood, there is a 4.8-liter V8 engine producing 570 hp at 6,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque or 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque with the overboost function.

The long-wheelbase Panamera is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.7 seconds, while offering a top speed of 192 mph or 308 km/h. [source: autocar.co.uk]
