Ram offering new paint options for its trucks

Article by Christian A., on December 2, 2010

2011 Ram Truck brand vehicles, such as the 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickups and 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab trucks, can now be painted in more colors from now on. Commercial customers may even choose to use the so-called "National Fire Safety Lime Yellow," typically used on government agency vehicles or emergency models.

Ram Truck Brand President and CEO Fred Diaz said, “Commercial truck buyers are at the center of our business.” Diaz explained that to succeed in this business, the company has to listen to its buyers.

He said that a vital community service is offered by these emergency vehicles. He claims that Ram Trucks provide “proven, reliable, durable products” that comply with the requirements of the municipalities that depend on them.

He said that its customers ask for a high degree of personalization, which is why Ram Trucks are offered in “thousands” of configurations to satisfy a wide variety of uses.

Ram Truck offers the following special low-volume paint color options for 2500 through 5500 models: Black, Bright Red, Dark Brown, Detonator Yellow, Light Cream, Light Green, Omaha Orange, School Bus Yellow, Timberline Green Pearl, Yellow and National Fire Safety Lime Yellow.

The Ram Truck team is also in the process of introducing eight additional colors to the low-volume paint palette in the near future. These new colors will be: Case IH Red, Case Construction Power Tan, New Holland Agriculture Blue, New Holland Construction Yellow, D.T. Green, Green Angel, S.R. Green and Robin Egg Blue.
