Rendered Speculation: Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet

Article by Christian Andrei, on February 12, 2014

Yesterday, we saw the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and we loved it but today we fell in love with a new vehicle: the S-Class Cabriolet. Although the car is just a rendering made by X-Tomi Design, we have to admit that it looks marvelous and we can’t wait to see the new car in the dealerships.

For those who don’t know, the S-Class Cabriolet was already confirmed by Mercedes-Benz and we believe that it will be offered with a stylish soft-top. Just like the Coupe version, we expect the S-Class Cabriolet to get the same 4.6-liter V8 biturbo engine that generates 455 hp (335 kW) and 700 Nm of torque.

Moreover, the S-Class Cabriolet will also get the unique headlamps that feature 47 Swarovski crystals as well as the impressive interior. The interior is also expected to get a new set of seats that feature the AirScarf, a system that brings a ‘scarf’ of warm air on your neck at high speeds but also when the weather is cold.
