The Year of the Dragon Collection, the newest product from the Rolls-Royce Bespoke team, is an offering that’s intended for the notable event and is meant to celebrate the symbol of power, prosperity and good fortune.
Customers can choose from a marquetry that’s either modern or conventional to match the veneer choice which is laser-cut and then hand-assembled into position in the veneer. The collection actually includes five specific items.
For instance, the twin coachline with a dragon is in a gold color and is hand-painted to the side of each Phantom or Phantom Extended Wheelbase. The dragon always looks forward so that perfect symmetry and balance are achieved.
The Forbidden City in Beijing is the inspiration for the hand-painted dragon coachline. The dragon could be seen on the leather of each headrest, meticulously hand-embroidered using four thread colors (Tan, Golden Sand, Black and White).
The colors are meant to complement a palette of suggested leather color options. This design may be finished with an added seat piping feature. A dragon inlay will be hand-laid to the passenger panel of each car in this exclusive collection.
The Phantom model name is applied in gold, which makes the two features a perfect match.
The interior features two hand-stitched cushions for the rear passengers and given embroidered double R-R logos and piping to emphasize the selected interior. The four door sills have illuminated treadplates with ‘Year of the Dragon 2012’ emphasized in LED lighting.
