This November, Skoda's European lineup will be joined by the Fabia Wagon GreenLine and Roomster GreenLine. The Octavia Combi GreenLine will be appearing in this lineup in January 2011.
The current lineup includes the Fabia, Yeti, Octavia, Superb and Superb Wagon models. Skoda expects the Yeti to account for 78% of overall sales, making it the top seller model of the GreenLine range.
The Yeti GreenLine features a 1.6 TDI engine with 105 hp (77 kW) and has an average fuel consumption of 4,6 l/100 km (51.1 mpg) and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.
The “Experience” trim level costs from EUR21,900 to EUR24,800. This engine is also featured in the Octavia, boasting a fuel consumption of 3,8 l/100km (62 mpg) and 99 g/km, while being priced at EUR21,450.
Meanwhile, the Octavia Wagon GreenLine, which has a price tag of 22,350 Euro, has a fuel economy of 4,2 l/100km (56 mpg) and CO2 emissions of 109 g/km. The Fabia GreenLine and Fabia Wagon Green Line will feature a 1.2 TDI engine with 75 hp that offers a fuel consumption rating of 4.2l/100 km (56 mpg) and 109 g/km of CO2.
The regular model has a starting price of EUR14,700 while the Wagon is priced from EUR15,330. The new generation of GreenLine engines is able to meet stricter EU 5 emission standards for diesel engines, especially the regulations for nitrogen oxides and solid particles.
This second generation offers more equipment as standard. This includes cruise control, ESP and tire pressure monitor (TPM).
