Article by Anita Panait, on August 15, 2013

The new and very unique SsangYong Turismo is now available in the United Kingdom. Measuring over 5 meters long with a 3-meter wheelbase, the SsangYong Turismo is larger than a standard sized MPV like the Ford Galaxy, Renault Grand Scenic or SEAT Alhambra, but is still a car compared to van-derived vehicles.

Its length means the SsangYong Turismo offers large interior space, allowing it to carry up to seven adult passengers and 875 liters of luggage, or two adults and 3,146 liters of load space. The SsangYong Turismo could be configured to seven alternative passenger and load combinations. SsangYong designed the Turismo to appeal as a family, leisure and business transportation.

That is why the Turismo is blessed with a multi-role flexibility and exceptional ride comfort. Boasts of equipment levels of a luxury saloon, the Turismo carries a starting price of just £17,995. Paul Williams, chief executive of SsangYong Motor UK, remarked that new Turismo is a “compelling proposition,” thanks to its flexible design layout, luxurious interior and highly competitive pricing.

He added that SsangYong is offering the new Turismo with an industry-leading five-year limitless mileage warranty. Interested could now avail of the new Turismo from more than 50 SsangYong dealers across the UK. [source: SsangYong]
