Suzuki has extended its VAT-free offer for the new Alto small car until the end of 2013. The offer is available on all Alto models, with the SZ model being priced at £5,999 representing savings of £1,200. The Alto is targeted towards younger buyers who may like its low cost of ownership with no annual road tax, thanks to its carbon dioxide emission figures of 99g/km, combined fuel consumption of 65.7mpg and an insurance group rating of 4E.

The entry level SZ model features front electric windows, central locking and CD Tuner as standard equipment. Suzuki is also continuing its flexible Personal Contract Plan (PCP) offers for until the end of 2013.

One could avail of the Alto SZ for a deposit of £779 with 41 monthly payments of £99, with the option to pay a final balloon payment of £2,352 at the end of the agreement to keep the vehicle.

Suzuki posted a 33-percent year-on-year hike in sales in the United Kingdom in the first nine months of 2013. It is projected to end 2013 with sales of around 33,000 units. [source: Suzuki]
